Dr. Vicente E. Font is a cardiologist who is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (cardiovascular disease and internal medicine). He is also certified by the National Board of Echocardiography in Comprehensive Echocardiography, which recognizes expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiography. Dr. Font is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, and American Society of Echocardiography. He is also a member of the South Florida Echocardiography Society. Dr. Font completed his residency and internship in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland. Following an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, he received his medical degree from the Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico.
